Asha Silva '29 Chess Tournament Results
Asha Silva '29 has had a truly exceptional few weeks, with an impressive string of tournament results:
- US Chess K-12 High School National Championship — 18th place, Under 1900 section
- US Chess Mid-America Open — 8th place, Under 2100 section
- KCF National All Girls Championship — 11th place, Under 16 section
- St. Louis All Girls Tournament — 1st place
- Missouri State All Girls Tournament — 1st place (the morning after Prom!)
Her finish as the top-ranked female player in Missouri has earned her an invitation to represent our state at the 14th Annual WIM Ruth Haring National Tournament of Girls State Champions in August at her first invitation-only tournament! TJ is incredibly proud of her!
