Moderator — Andy Matuschak ‘06
 runs an independent research lab focused on inventing user interfaces to augment human intelligence. His current research focuses on a new written medium that makes it much easier to remember what you read. In previous roles, Andy led R&D at Khan Academy and helped build iOS at Apple.

Guest Speaker — David German '04 graduated from Swarthmore College in 2008 with a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Engineering.  He is currently a Staff Software Engineer at Google in Cambridge MA, where he serves as the Technical Lead for Search Latency.

Guest Speaker — Mark Jung ’16 graduated from Northwestern University in 2020 majoring in Computer Science. Soon after college, Mark joined Microsoft's security engineering team. After working there for a year, Mark moved within Microsoft to Azure's Efficiency Innovation team, scaling its immersion cooled data center project. Mark has been there since 2021, where he works on running servers in production even with repeatable component failures. 

Guest Speaker — Shawma Chun ‘14  attended Columbia University for his undergrad where he majored in East Asian Studies and minored in Computer Science. After graduating, he participated in the Venture For America Fellowship, during which he worked as a software engineer at two startups in Baltimore. In April of 2020 he returned to New York to start his current role as a customer solutions engineer for the Google Marketing Platform.
