All are invited to attend TJ's outdoor graduation ceremony for the Class of 2022 on Friday, June 3, at 6:00 p.m.
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn behind Merrill Main and will also be available to stream online. For those wishing to attend in person, registration in advance is requested. You can register or find more information here.
This event is both a celebration of the Class of 2022 and of all the students who have made this school year memorable. It includes all-school awards and acknowledgments, and we encourage all students to attend.
The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Graduates should meet in the dining hall by 5:15 p.m.
Guests are welcome to start arriving at 5:00 p.m. There will be open seating available on a first-come, first served basis. The first two rows are reserved for faculty and staff. Arrangements will be made for those guests who requested special seating in their RSVP.
Light refreshments will be provided on the patio outside the Dining Hall after the ceremony.
The ceremony will take place outside on the lawn between Merrill Main and Lindbergh Blvd. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately and wear bug spray.
Parking for the event will be available on the TJ campus to attendees on a first come, first serve, basis. Attendees are encouraged to carpool with members of their own household. Spaces will be reserved on campus in the visitor parking area for those who requested special accommodations in their RSVP.
If parking on campus is full, additional parking will be available at Truman Middle School, located at 12225 Eddie And Park Rd, St. Louis, MO 63127. A shuttle will be running every few minutes before and after the ceremony to transport guests to and from this location.
The event will take place outdoors and attendees are expected to plan accordingly. For our students’ health and safety, especially considering that many of them will be traveling the next day, we request that masks be worn while you are indoors.
Art Sale and Fundraiser
Before and after the ceremony, guests are encouraged to view the student artwork that will be on display on the east side of the lawn. This artwork is part of the TJ Art Sale, which is a fundraising event organized by seniors and current students featuring artwork created during their TJ careers. This event not only celebrates the artistic achievements of TJ students but also aims to support TJ’s art programs. All proceeds collected through these sales will support the arts and theater departments. Thank you for your generous support!
