For Juniors (the Class of 2027) and their parents / caregivers "This program is an introduction to the Thomas Jefferson School College Counseling program. I will provide an overview of the college search process, as well as details of what students and families can expect each step of the way.
Join me to find out what's in store over the coming weeks and months, relieve some anxiety, and get excited about what lies ahead." - Mr. Eric Steere, Director of College Counseling
Students in AP Lit and AP Lang will join Deputy Director of Admissions and Dean of Undergraduate Admissions Zach Evans for a seminar on supplemental essays.
"The University of Chicago has long been renowned for our provocative essay questions. We think of them as an opportunity for students to tell us about themselves, their tastes, and their ambitions. They can be approached with utter seriousness, complete fancy, or something in between." Join us as we review real examples of essays that worked and those that didn't.
