Financial Aid
Choosing an independent school is a significant decision for families—both academically and financially. While all families are expected to contribute towards their child's education, we are committed to making the cost of a TJ education affordable. One-third of our student body receives some level of tuition assistance.
Financial Aid Application Deadline
All applications for financial aid for the 2024–2025 school year must be received by January 9, 2024.
Financial Aid Decision Date
Returning Families: February 2, 2024
New Families: March 9, 2024
Financial Aid Application Process
Families seeking need based assistance should complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) through the School & Student Services (SSS) for Financial Aid System.
- SSS will begin accepting applications for the 2024–2025 school year early in November 2023.
- Thomas Jefferson School's school code for the application is 7666.
- The fee of $60 is nonrefundable. Once your PFS is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the SSS system.
