At TJ, learning happens in small classes where every student is known, challenged, and supported. Our students think deeply, ask bold questions, and form lasting connections with teachers who are passionate about their subjects and classmates who share their curiosity. It is an environment where academic rigor meets genuine community.
Your first step toward joining TJ
We encourage families to begin by experiencing our campus firsthand. Schedule a Shadow Day to meet our students and teachers, join classes, and feel the rhythm of daily life at TJ. Many families find that spending a day here brings our mission to life and helps them see whether TJ feels like the right fit.
How to Apply
To apply, you will complete an SSAT profile (our code is 7660) and submit the application fee ($40), student essays, and parent statement.
We also ask for recommendations from your principal or counselor, as well as your current math and English teachers. Your current school should send us official transcripts.
You will also register for the SSAT exam, which gives us a clear sense of your academic preparation.
