    The best way to get to know TJ is to spend time on campus and in our classrooms.  We invite you to come explore TJ to experience all we have to offer.  To start your TJ experience please fill out this inquiry form so we can personalize your time on our campus.

    Shadow Days

    Experience TJ for yourself! Shadow Days provide opportunities for prospective students can experience our classes first hand. Visiting "shadows" will accompany a TJ student to a combination of classes and free periods, including the ever-popular morning cookie break!

Apply to TJ with SSAT’s Standard Application Online (SAO). For domestic applicants, TJ's application fee is $40. TJ's school code is 7660.

  • Day Student Application Process (Grades 7-12)

    How to apply:
    1. Create your SSAT account profile here
    2. Submit the Student Essays
    3. Submit the Parent Statement
    4. Submit application fee ($40)
    5. Register for the SSAT Exam (TJ's SSAT code is 7660)
    6. Request the Principal/Guidance Counselor Recommendation Form to be completed by a Principal or Guidance Counselor
    7. Request Math Recommendation Form to be completed by current Math Teacher
    8. Request English Recommendation Form to be completed by current English Teacher
    9. Request School Transcripts from current school
    10. Send a message to admissions@tjs.org to schedule an initial meeting with our Director of Enrollment.

    Applications due on December 8, 2023.
    Notifications sent on February 2, 2024.
    Contracts due on February 23, 2024.

    Grades 7-8 and Grades 10-12:

    Notifications sent on March 8, 2024.
    Contracts due on March 29, 2024.
