Fun Fact: Eric is currently training for his first marathon.

Eric Steere joined TJ as the Director of College Counseling in 2021. With previous experience teaching and working as a college counselor, most recently at international schools in UAE and India, Eric has been guiding students to best-fit college and career opportunities since 2018. Originally from New Jersey, Eric attended the University of St. Andrews and Durham University in the UK, and recently completed his Graduate Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA. He also serves on the Executive Board of MOACAC as the International Initiatives Chair. Eric teaches English and serves as Dorm Parent of Gray House where he lives with his wife and two children.
