Fun Fact: Myra produced a WW2 feature film "Reveille" in 2022 now on Amazon! She traveled all 50 states in four months during 2023 with Letters From Home USO style show. She's also an archival researcher and European tour guide focusing on WW2.

Myra joined the TJ arts faculty as an adjunct in 2017 teaching Digital Photography and Composition while serving as Yearbook Advisor. Over the past few years, she has added other digital arts courses such as Advanced Photography and Graphic Design, Publications, and Filmmaking. In 2021, Myra took over as advisor of the student publication The Declaration. In addition to her teaching and advising duties, she serves as the school photographer and assists the Communications Department. Myra earned her B.A. in Communication and M.Ed - Human Services from Drury University. Her doctorate is in Higher Education Administration from St. Louis University where she focused on how a sense of belonging affects traditional and nontraditional college students in regard to alumni giving.
