Sophomore Tina Zhu Wins Statewide Writing Awards
Winners were selected from hundreds of submissions received throughout Missouri and the Kansas City, Kansas area.
Congratulations to Tina Zhu '25 for her victories in the 2023 Missouri Writing Region of the Scholastic Writing Awards Contest. She has won not one, but two TWO Scholastic Writing Awards—both gold (for her personal essay) and silver (for her poetry).
As a gold award winner, Tina's submission will now be considered at the national level. Her work will also be published online in Missouri Youth Write, an online publication which will be available in June 2023.
