Ky Arand '23 awarded with academic honors from College Board

Congrats to Ky Arand '23 for earning the National Hispanic Recognition Award through the College Board's National Recognition Program. Colleges and scholarship programs use these honors to identify talented underrepresented students and to connect them with colleges and universities across the country.

These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and help them stand out during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs identify students awarded National African American, Hispanic, Indigenous and/or Rural/Small Town Recognition through College Board’s Student Search Service.

Ky earned the National Hispanic Recognition Award because of his combined verbal, math, and writing skill scores on the PSAT/NMSQT, which he took last fall as a junior. (This year's juniors will take the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 12.)

Congratulations, Ky!
