Thomas Jefferson School is proud to be a part of the global movement, #GivingTuesday. On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, you have a great opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the lives of our students.
For TJ to continuously provide an exceptional education, there is about $100,000 that tuition does not cover and 2020 is no different.
Your support is felt throughout the school year, especially now during these different times we live in:
the lessons teachers plan to accommodate in-person and distanced learning each day;
the clubs, sports, retreats, productions, and activities the students participate in - while distanced and in-person;
the extent of the preparation, PPE purchased, and safety measures taken to ensure all individuals on campus - faculty, staff, and students are protected from COVID-19;
and the tuition assistance additional students have received because they need the extra help.
Every gift received benefits all students throughout the school year and especially now as we continue to make modifications due to COVID-19 to provide for students, faculty, and staff safety while on campus.

The TJ Equality Club will be hosting its first discussion group on Monday, 21 December at 9:00 AM (Central Standard Time). Our discussion will be centered on the Black Lives Matter movement, particularly exploring the role and impact of White people in BLM. All are encouraged to join in this student-led and student-driven discussion, which is expected to last around one hour. Come prepared to engage actively with the topic while remaining respectful of and open to the views of all participants. The discussion will take place via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3932831073.
If you haven't yet, please also take a moment to fill out the Equality Club's survey (https://forms.gle/cZJRcLd3aKtxYm576) regarding future discussion opportunities.
We would love to be together at McGurk's this year, but a virtual meet up will have to do... you know, because 2020. Please gather around your computer or phone for an all-community virtual meet-up. Faculty, staff, students, alumni, past-parents, trustees, and friends of the school are all welcome!
